Review: Klipeasy multi-purpose clips + Giveaway

Klipeasy multipurpose clips review

About Klipeasy

Klipeasy is a small robust clip with a strong spring mechanism. It is both washing machine and tumble dryer safe, has a flat head to prevent it damaging anything you clip and can easily be hung from a suction cup or small nail.

My review of Klipeasy

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received my Klipeasy pack, after all, clothes pegs haven’t had a re-design for half a century for good reason and I wasn’t convinced they needed one now. However, Klipeasy is more than just a clothes peg.

Klipeasy clips seem to be a hybrid, mixing the most useful functions of clothes pegs, bulldog clips and food clips. Although they are surprisingly small, they are easily as strong as a bulldog clip, while also being designed not to damage fabric in the same way as a clothes peg, and being as useful around the house as a food clip. As a result, the uses for these little clips are endless!

Originally Klipeasy was designed for one purpose, to clip pairs of socks together and thwart the evil that lurks in the tumble dryer stealing one sock in every pair. While thwarting monsters is no small feat, Klipeasy can also be used the more obvious purpose of hanging out laundry, they’re also strong enough to clip clothes on a hanger into the washing line to prevent them blowing off and depositing your newly cleaned clothes into the dirt, and if you have delicate items to wash you can put them in a pillowcase and clip it shut, protecting them from being mauled by Velcro bib fasteners and pocket shrapnel. I’m sure their are countless other laundry related ways you can use Klipeasy, but as I have discussed previously, laundry is not my strong suit.

Crafts however are one of my favorite pass times and this is an area where Klipeasy has a multitude of uses. Because they are so small and strong they are perfect for most crafts that require you to hold something in place. The flat head also means that whether you’re clamping fabric, card or balsa wood, you are unlikely to end up with marks on your finished product. The most obvious use for Klipeasy in crafts is holding items you are gluing together until the stick fast and it has to be said that these little clips do this very well due to how strong they are. Another, less obvious use in craft is holding fabrics for stitching. If you are sewing with several layers of fabric they can slip and move as you pin them. Using clips is an excellent way to solve this. Some other materials such as leather can’t be pinned at all as the pins could cause visible marks on the finished garment, but again, these little clips solve this problem with ease. I love Klipeasy as a craft aid so much that most of my clips will be finding their way into my craft box.

Around the house Klipeasy clips can make themselves useful in nearly every room. They can seal food bags, tidy cables, sort papers in your office, and hang everything from calendars and notes to towels. You can even use them to hang fairy lights in your garden!

I’ve been surprisingly impressed by Klipeasy. The owners set out to invent the only clip you will ever need and I think they have come as close to doing so as a single product could. Klipeasy are currently running a Kickstarter campaign. If you would like to be among the first to get their hands on them head over to Klipeasy at Kickstarter.

  1. I’ll use some in the kitchen to close bags and help prevent spillages in the cupboards, and some when I’m crafting – they would be great for holding box flaps together while the glue dries

  2. Definately for sealing food packets but I can see there’s a whole host of different situations where they would come in very handy.

  3. I would use them for the freezer and for the washing machine and I am sure there are loads of other things they will be useful for.

  4. For many things: On opened cereal bags, and similar to help keep contents fresh. On opened packs of frozen veg, and I might blue tack one or two to the fridge to hold a shopping list and similar. Thanks for the chance XXX

  5. Not very exciting I know, but we would try them as clothes pegs, it can been windy here in North Wales.

  6. My kids are forever opening packets of crisps and dried fruit and then leaving them to go to waste, so I’d use the Klipeasy Clips to keep food fresher for longer. I’d use them to reseal food, but they are so multi-functional that I would use them for so many different things including pegging my children’s lovely masterpiece paintings out to dry.

  7. How’s about holding the bottom corners of the duvet cover onto the corners of the duvet when changing covers? Been after clips to do that for a while now!

  8. My nose when one of my lads trump, Besides that, would use it for some freezer items, sick of peas all over

  9. Making sure that no food is wasted by clipping the packets to keep them fresh. Also probably to organise my work in my bedroom and hanging things on the wall. These are brilliant’

  10. I would use these both for the freezer and store cupboard and for closing packets of food when we are out and about. Great for keeping notes together too.

  11. I would use them for my bags crisps and packets of biscuit……so handy for preventing food from going stale.

  12. These would be great for opened pasta packets, cat buiscuit packets and all that kind of thing we have that never seem to stay closed!!

  13. Pretty sure I’ve a unique use for these! The dog keeps getting bladder stones so I take regular tests of the ph of her urine to see if she may have an infection. This means she has to be on the lead for the first wee of the day but every time I bend down to collect it she pings up and stops peeing. So the cunning plan is to attach a clip to a stick so that it will hold a ph strip and, fingers crossed, I can hold it in the stream of urine whilst remaining standing up.

  14. For crisps and other stuff in packet Also would give some for my daughter to use for pictures in her bedroom 🙂

  15. There are some many uses for these clips from the kitchen to sorting out my files and bills pretty colours and a very useful product

  16. If I won I would give them to my daughter and granddaughter who would find many good uses for them including clipping all those play school pictures up in the kitchen!

  17. In the kitchen for keeping bags of coffee and dry cat food fresh. The cat gets very fussy if her food goes slightly stale!

  18. These would be so useful. My daughters snack packets… Ooh, our rice packets! Finally can stop strayrice grains being all over cupboard!

  19. I would use clips on frozen food bag before putting back in fridge, to hold all of my receipts together before I check them against my bank statement and if my husband ‘forgets’ to do something I would be tempted to clip one on his nose!

  20. Most definitely for food! Opened packets because those sticky resealable tabs that they put on the packets never work!! and bags of peas etc in the freezer x

  21. These would be fantastic to close over food packets i would also use them to stop the wires behind the tv getting tangled and clip them into neat bunches.

  22. These fab little clips have so many uses! From sealing snacks and bags of salad to keep them fresh, to biscuits, my daughter’s snacks and I love your idea of using them to make a display. They would be great for my daughters’ artwork!
